City-sheet is a portable, convenient electronic
information system for travellers. It stores the
user’s preferred information and puts an end to
the carrying of heavy guidebooks.
Many people enjoy travelling somewhere
new. They use guide books and maps to
understand their destination. Travelling around
several cities on one trip requires the carrying
of multiple guidebooks that probably contain
more information than will be used. City-sheet
puts an end to the carrying of heavy books
and the use of large-format maps, making
travel more pleasurable. It is a book of just five sheets that show the necessary information, loaded through a USB connection. Travellers can select and edit details on their personal computer before travelling and save it to City- sheet.
The information is divided into five folders
according to its type – topographical map, road
map, public transport map, information about
the place, and zones (set by the character
of each zone). Each folder’s information will
appear on a slide, and can be layered. Each
E-paper slide can be rolled. |
